18–22 June 2026 · New York City
Five days.
Thirteen styles.
One heartbeat.
Baila New York is NYC's first dance festival rooted in tradition — five days of Afro-Caribbean music and dance, from sunrise workshops to socials that end when the sun comes back up.
The film
Three minutes inside Baila New York
Shot across last edition’s five days — the workshops, the concerts, the socials at 4 a.m. Sound on.
Rooted in tradition
The culture comes first
Most festivals start with the party. We start with the source. Salsa, casino, son, rumba, bachata, konpa, kizomba — every style on our floors carries a history, and we book the artists, bands and folklorists who live it. You'll learn the step and the story: palos drumming at midnight, an open rumba circle, a rueda flashmob in the middle of Hudson Yards.
